Sever's Corn Maze

On Sunday we went to Sever's Corn Maze in Shakopee with Chris, Raquel & Micah! Bryce & I first heard about it 2 years ago when we moved to Shakopee, and always wanted to check it out, but never got around to it. So we decided that we were forsure going to check it out this year & figured it'd be fun to invite Chris & Raquel along with us! We thought it would be a fun family activity to do with the boys. I'm really glad we went b/c it turned out to be a great time & there is a lot to see & do there. Besides the corn maze, there is also a giant corn pit where you can jump in and play in the corn, an exotic petting zoo, a hay bale maze for the kids, magic shows, live music, etc.

Sever's has been doing a corn maze for 11 years now & each year the maze is different with a new theme. This year was a Pirate Theme & you can see a picture of the maze below. It's pretty incredible. There are 26 different signs to find throughout the maze (labeled A-Z) & only 6 of them contained a picture of "Captain Sever." It was our job to find the 6 signs with Sever's picture on them, write them down, and turn them in at the end for a chance to win a $50 gift card!

Here are a few pictures of us in the giant corn pit! The boys really seemed to love it - and so did the adults :)

Here we are trying to find our way through the maze...

And here are a few more pictures from the day...

Connor by the giant pumpkins!

We will definitely be back next year! I know the boys will definitely have a good time next year when they can actually jump around in the corn pit & run through the maze :)
