Connor's First Haircut

On Saturday we took Connor to get his first haircut! As adorable as his hair was, we knew it was time to get it cut b/c his hair was hanging down to his eyebrows, over his ears, and hung low in the back and we figured we should intervene before it got any crazier! Connor had been waking up with some major bedhead lately too, which was another sign that a haircut was in order, but it was so very cute :)

I must admit that I was getting a little teary-eyed on the way over there b/c it's a milestone that reminds me that our little boy is growing up. I seriously just want to bottle him up right now b/c 7 months has been such a fun age/stage.

But, we took him to Kids' Hair in Savage and we were hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst, b/c we had no idea how he'd react to this situation. But, of course, our little kiddo was his usual well-behaved, easy-going self and did great in the chair! He was just so curious about the other people in the salon and everything else going on around him that he just sat in the chair and took it all in.

If his hair continues to grow as fast as it has to this point, than I think we'll be at Kids' Hair about once a month! There he goes taking after daddy once again...
