Wisconsin Dells

We took a little road trip this past weekend to Wisconsin Dells! We got to spend a long weekend with Chris, Raquel & Micah (and baby Redman #2) enjoying the hotel and waterpark. We all stayed at the Polynesian Resort which had it's own indoor and outdoor waterparks. The days were spent swimming, floating along the lazy river, going down the waterslides and watching the little boys have a fun time playing in the water. It worked really well for us to be at a hotel that had it's own waterpark b/c it made it easy to go swimming, then take a break for lunch & then lay the boys down for a nap, and then swim some more before we ventured out to dinner for the evening.

Both of the boys seemed to like the water a lot. I know Connor did a lot better than we expected him to. This was pretty much his first time in an actual pool and every other time he's been around water he has been pretty hesitant about it. It only took him a short while to get comfortable with the water, and then he seemed to enjoy it a lot. Thankfully! I think the part he liked the most was floating down the lazy river! The resort had these double-tubes that we could use so we'd put Connor in the front part of the tube (it had a closed hole) and he'd just chill in there while we floated away. It was really cute to see both of the boys loving their 'boat' rides.

It was a really fun weekend overall & we definitely enjoyed ourselves a lot. It was a great mini summer vacation and the company we were with was perfect. We had a lot of laughs over the weekend, that's forsure. We hope to make this a yearly tradition & I'm already looking forward to next summer. Thanks Redman Family for joining us.
