I feel like I'm already treating baby #2 as a second child, but definitely not on purpose. I've taken zero belly pics of this pregnancy so far (and I'm currently 32.5 weeks along), have read maybe 5 pages out of my pregnancy books, and the nursery is definitely not ready yet. Thankfully, since #2 is a boy as well, I think we have pretty much everything we need except for a double-stroller and a baby book. Note to self: time to get shopping.
The c-section is officially scheduled for July 19 at 8:30am! He was measuring small for the first couple of months (in the 30th percentiles) but his growth has recently caught up to closer to where it should be. And since we was measuring small to begin with, I was scheduled for 2 additional ultrasounds to monitor his growth. It's always fun to see the lil guy and to see that everything seems to be just fine with him. At the 2nd ultrasound we were surprised with a few 3D ultrasound pics. He sure is a cutie, huh?! I'll be so anxious to hear what his weight and length stats are once he's born, and to see how much he does/doesn't look like his big brother.

And Connor is just as precious as ever! This 2-year old stage has been filled with more fun & laughs than tantrums, thankfully. Although, tantrums do occur - I'm not gonna lie :) Connor is sure becoming our little parrot, too. His vocab is really picking up and he will attempt to say anything we ask him to. A few of our favorite words that he's saying right now are:
- nonnor (Connor)
- amy (airplane)
- hersh (shoes)
- hep me (help me)
- wawer (water)
- keeds (kids)
Connor is also sleeping in a big boy bed now! The transition went way too smoothly. Boy did we luck out. Bryce & I were both so surprised with how well and how fast he adjusted to his new bed. We were expecting a much bigger fight and were worried b/c he has always loved his crib so much and slept so well in there. We were nervous about how he'd do with the change, and worried that our bedtime routine was about to crumble. But, the first night in his big boy bed he whined for literally 5 minutes and that was it. Every night since then he has laid down without a problem at all. We just lay him down in bed, and besides making sure he has his blankie and binky, the only other request he has is to cover him up with his ducky blanket. Not once has he gotten out of his bed after we lay him down for the night. Not once have we found him running around the house and 2am, and he even waits for us to come get him in the mornings when he wakes up. Maybe that will change, but he's been such a good boy so far!
