On Saturday we had the opportunity to visit the new TCF Bank Stadium, which is the new home of the Minnesota Gopher Football team. It was a gorgeous day for outdoor football & a great day to check out the new stadium for the first time. We brought Connor with us & he had such a good day and was so good the entire time we were there. Thankfully Connor took a good nap in the morning before we left for the day, and also napped for a little bit in the car ride to Minneapolis, because once we got there he couldn't quit looking around! He was just so interested in what was going on and all the people everywhere. I guess he's a "people watcher" like his mommy! People kept commenting on how cute he was in his Gopher gear :)
It was really fun to bring Connor to our old stompin' grounds at the U of M and both of us thought the stadium was really cool. I'm glad we were able to check it out. We had seats in the lower level & were close to the action. We only watched probably 1 and half quarters of the scrimmage b/c we spent the rest of the time walking around and checking out the stadium & taking pictures.
