Updates!

Nobody ever told me that once a baby hits the 4-Month mark they start changing like crazy! Seriously, there have been so many "firsts" since Connor has turned 4-Months, I can hardly keep up with at all! For starters, he has started losing some ground on his weight & is now in the 80th percentile, instead of the 90th percentile. I'm sure this is because he doesn't quit moving these days & is burning calories non-stop! He was still in the 90% for height, and 97% for head! We're convinced that it's because he has such a big brain & will be so smart when he grows up. Right?! Taking after Daddy, once again...

He's also following in Daddy's footsteps by getting his first tooth 2 weeks ago! It was a rough few days for our poor little kiddo, but he came through it & so did that tooth! Bryce got his first 2 teeth when he was 4-Months old, too. People keep commenting how early that is for him to be getting teeth - even the Pediatrician said so. And as of yesterday, exactly 2 weeks after his first tooth broke through, tooth #2 has arrived as well! Bryce & I think it's absolutely adorable to see him with teeth. It is always so cute to see a baby smile with their 2 lower teeth in!

And, the same day Connor got his first tooth (Aug 3), he also started rolling over from back to tummy! It happened so fast & I actually missed him do it the first time. I was on the phone with my mom and I looked over at him & he was on his tummy! I couldn't believe it. So I flipped him back onto his back to see if he'd do it again, and sure enough, he ended up doing it 4 or 5 times in a row! And of course now he doesn't quit moving! He's rolling all over the place & loves exploring his surroundings. And now we're currently working on teaching him how to sit up. I'm sure he's only a few weeks away from being able to do that. Good times, good times.

This is a picture of Connor & his activity mat. He was rolling around so much that he knocked the top of it completely upside down, haha.

And here is a video from this morning of Connor playing on his activity mat. You'll see how much he rolls around...

The final new development is that Connor has begun eating solids now, too. So far we've only given him rice cereal, but he learned how to eat from the spoon really quickly & seems to enjoy the food a lot. He normally finishes everything I prepare for him, so he'll keep growing & growing. Today I plan to introduce oatmeal, and within the next couple weeks we'll slowly start introducing some veggies as well. yummy stuff!

Oh, and one more thing - his hair is growing like a weed :)

And a couple more of my favorite pictures since Connor has turned 4-Months old:
