18 Months & A Weekend Wrap-Up

Our big boy turned 18-months a week ago. I can't believe it. We still call him our little baby, but he definitely isn't a baby anymore. Babies don't run and jump and dance and talk and laugh like our little toddler does. I know I've said this before, but he is such a little charmer and has the cutest little personality.

On Friday he had his 18-month check up at the Doctor. His official 18-month stats are:

Weight: 25 lbs 15 oz (40th percentile)
Length: 33 1/4 inches (75%)
Head: 19 3/4 inches (97%)

On another note - what a nice fall weekend we had! Our weekend was jammed full and we took advantage of the nice weather and did lots of fun stuff.

After Connor's Dr appt on Friday, we headed over to visit with Nate & Jackie and the kids! This is the first time we had seen them since they've been back in MN, so it was really great the spend some time with them again.

On Friday night, we headed to the Farmington High School Homecoming Football game with Kelly, Chad, Nate, Jackie and the kids. Unfortunately, Farmington lost but we still had a good time cheering on Chad's son. And much to our amazement - Connor watched the entire football game! He was loving the atmosphere and totally interested in what was going on down on the field and in the stands around him. He never tried to get down and run around - he just spent time sitting on everyone's laps.

Bryce got 2 free tickets to the Gopher Football game on Saturday from a co-worker, so that's where we spent our Saturday afternoon. Once again, we watched our team lose, but it was still fun to be at the new stadium and watch some college football.

And on Sunday we spent the gorgeous afternoon at Sever's Corn Maze. The giant corn-pit was a big hit with Connor and probably his favorite part of the day. He also enjoyed looking at the animals in the petting zoo, walking through the giant maze, playing at the park, and running through the kids' maze.

I love Fall & hope we get a couple more weekends like this! The cold weather is definitely just around the corner...
