We had our ultrasound appointment for baby #2 on Thursday morning and found out that we are having another boy! We couldn't be more excited about the news and are so thankful that baby boy looks healthy. We know Connor will be a great big brother and it'll be so nice for him to have a little buddy around the house. I'm sure we'll have all sorts of chaos around here with 2 busy boys running around, but it'll all be in good fun.
He was an active little guy already as we watched him on the ultrasound. He was moving a lot and thankfully he cooperated so we could find out his gender. As active as Connor is already, I'm sure Bryce & I will have our hands full with another busy boy on the way.
The Dr said that he is measuring about 9 days earlier than expected - but he is still in the 'normal' range for development so there isn't anything to worry about. Because of this, I'll have a 2nd ultrasound scheduled around 28 weeks to check in on the baby's development at that point and to see where he measures up. It just amazes me all they can see/measure through an ultrasound when he is only around 11 ounces right now.
I will post pictures of our ultrasound pictures soon. (the scanner isn't cooperating for me tonight). And another post of our 2-night staycation at the Waterpark of America hotel that we just got back from. What a fun weekend we had!
